Seductive dance of saffron, musk, and tuberose…
Oh boy where do I start. Gozo has been long time cult favorite for tuberose fans, and for a very good reason. Working on inspiration of Abdulaziz Al Ajail was tedious and took two years time leading to complex, notorious tuberose that is so easy to fall in love with. Even if you didn’t enjoy it on the first wear, once tested again, it eventually wins everyone over..
What is astonishing about Gozo is how dense and multifaceted it is. Fruity and leathery nuances switch up in fractions of a second. Followed by bubblegum sweetness and opulent accord of peachy musk. And that dance of the ingredients on the tip of the nose is continuous so you never go noseblind to it. Tuberose normally tends to be very linear element in fragrance, but in Gozo it hits you like a storm with its presence. Heavy hitter from Jeroboam and my little obsession and secret weapon for date nights.
If you are not shy and enjoy heavy sweet opulent fragrances with healthy dose of saffron, Gozo must have been on your radar by now. I was lucky to try it when it was launched and my affection towards it only grew stronger with time.
What was your experience with Jeroboam Gozo so far?
